Formulas & Equations

Ohms Law (Ω)

E = I X R
E = Volts, I=current in amps, and R=resistance

Also:
R = E / I
I = E / R

When resistance goes up amperage goes down.
When resistance goes down amperage goes up.
When resistance goes down voltage goes down.
When resistance goes up voltage goes up.
When voltages goes down amperage goes up.
When voltage goes up amp goes down.
When amperage goes up voltage is constant.
When amperage goes down voltage is constant.

Power & Resistance

P = E X I

I = E / R

P = E X E /R = E2 / R

R = E 2 / P
